HIAWATHA, Iowa (KCRG) - Police have made an arrest following a shooting incident that happened early Sunday morning.

Police were dispatched to the 2000 block of Blairs Ferry Road NE on Sunday for a report of a 25-year-old man with a gunshot wound. The man was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.

In a news release, police said their investigation revealed the shooting happened at 58 Northwood Drive. Officers later arrested 18-year-old Ryan Paul Wilson and charged him with Attempt to Commit Murder and Assault-Willful Injury.
