State wrestling tournament to go on as planned, with some changes
DES MOINES, Iowa (KCRG) - The Iowa High School Athletic Association says this year’s state wrestling tournament will go on as planned next month, but there will be some limitations.
They will implement social distancing mitigation efforts and limit the number of spectators.
Seats will be reserved in blocks and masks will be required.
The association said the tournament typically brings in 75,000 fans, but this year there will be less than 4,000 tickets available for each session.
The tournament is set to run from February 17-20.
