DES MOINES, Iowa (KCCI) - Iowa will no longer automatically allocate COVID-19 vaccine doses to counties due to slowing demand.

The Iowa Department of Public Health says it now surveys counties each week to see what they need.

This week, the IDPH ordered about 2,400 doses. That’s 5,200 fewer doses than the week before.
